Inuyasha asks Kagura what's going on between her and Hakudoushi, but she tells him to back off, since there's no time to explain. Hakudoushi's barrier is crackling from the Kaze no Kizu Inuyasha preformed earlier, and it looks like he's planning on sending it back. Hakudoushi threatens Kagura that her life is about to end, when Inuyasha steps infront of her and tries to cut Hakudoushi with the Tessaiga, but can't. Kagura questions Inuyasha, that is it safe for him to turn his back on her, (Meaning she could attack him without him seeing her) but he ignores her statement. Kagome and Miroku discuss how Kagura saved Kohaku from Hakudoushi, meaning that Naraku is planning on taking out his jewel shard. Inuyasha begs Kagura to tell him everything she knows, because it's for her benefit. Hakudoushi doesn't plan on leaving until he kills her most likely. Kagura says that's because he doesn't want anyone to know where Naraku's baby (Naraku's heart) is located. Everyone becomes shocked. They finally realise that Mouryoumaru is that heart because he has no youki, Naraku is trying to hide it. Hakudoushi starts to fade away, but then comes back trapping Kagura in his barrier. He dares Inuyasha to use Kongousouha again, along with Kagura. But he won't do it, because he doesn't want to kill Kagura. Kagura says to herself that Inu is a softie ^^, but then turns around quickly and slices Hakudoushi in two, yelling to Inuyasha that the baby and Hakudoushi plan on making Mouryoumaru stronger so they can overtake Naraku.
